The taste

Nose Aromas of tangy orange marmalade nestle into layers of plump sultana, raisin, and date. Sweet, nutty marzipan notes evolve; creamy toffee highlights linger. Taste Creamy and mouth-warming initially, reminiscent of a velvety hot cocoa with chilli flakes and cinnamon. Flavours of a rich fruitcake, brimming with mixed peel and nuts, come to the fore; icing sugar notes add depth. Finish Fruity finish opens into drying walnut notes at the end.
