Inspired by one of the most powerful signs in the eastern zodiac, this limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from 1966 provides the perfect way to celebrate the fire within.
The Whisky
1966 from Glen Grant Distillery
Laid down by ‘Mr George’ Urquhart in 1966, this whisky has been carefully nurtured for 59 years in a refill Sherry hogshead. Distilled on 6th June 1966 and spending its entire maturation in cask no. 3740, bottled on 22nd October 2025 at cask strength of 51.1% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Vanilla custard combines with toasted hazelnuts and bright cinnamon spice. Cocoa powder and rich sultanas are followed by vibrant autumnal spices. Medium-bodied and long finish with lingering mixed nuts and citrus peel.
