Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Aromas of LEMON PEEL and POACHED PEARS give way to ORANGE MARMALADE. VANILLA POD comes to the fore alongside RED APPLE and soft CHARRED OAK.
Taste
Rich CITRUS ZEST and soft BANANA notes complement sweet HONEY. Toasted HAZELNUTS develop, accompanied by MILK CHOCOLATE and BROWN SUGAR.
Finish
A medium-bodied finish with lingering notes of BAKED APPLES, subtle WHITE PEPPER and MATURE OAK.
