Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Fragrant LEMON PEEL leads to MANGO, PINEAPPLE and soft VANILLA. HONEY comes to the fore alongside rich WHITE CHOCOLATE.
Taste
Intense flavours of CRYSTALLISED VIOLETS give way to TROPICAL FRUIT. Notes of BLACK PEPPER develop leading to ORANGE SHERBET and roasted MIXED NUTS.
Finish
A medium-bodied and SPICY finish with lingering sweet FRUIT and MATURE OAK.
