Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Fragrant GREEN APPLE and VANILLA POD aromas give way to POACHED PEAR. HONEYDEW MELON notes develop alongside COCOA POWDER and LIME PEEL.
Taste
Smooth BAKED APPLE and GRAPEFRUIT flavours are balanced by subtle BLACK PEPPER. ALMONDS accompany soft HERBAL notes and TOASTED OAK.
Finish
A light and slightly drying finish with lingering MIXED NUTS.
