Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Rich RED APPLE and VANILLA POD aromas lead to hints of DRIED BANANA. PINEAPPLE and COCONUT are balanced by hints of BONFIRE EMBERS.
Taste
Smooth flavours of POACHED PEAR and HONEY give way to undertones of CURED MEAT. Notes of DEMERARA SUGAR develop alongside rich PINEAPPLE and COCONUT.
Finish
A medium finish with subtle SPICE and lingering sweet SMOKE.
