Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Rich VANILLA and PINEAPPLE aromas give way to soft TOASTED MALT. Undertones of LEMON PEEL develop alongside HONEYCOMB and a subtle hint of WHITE CHOCOLATE.
Taste
Smooth flavours of BAKED APPLES and MARZIPAN lead to BRAZIL NUTS. WHITE PEPPER comes to the fore with TROPICAL FRUIT.
Finish
A medium-bodied finish with lingering CITRUS ZEST and MATURE OAK.
