Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Tart GREEN APPLE aromas with fresh notes of PINEAPPLE accompanies sweet BUTTERSCOTCH. Ripe BANANA and LEMON ZEST give way to subtle SHERBET.
Taste
Rich VANILLA and sweet HONEYDEW MELON flavours lead to a subtle hint of TOASTED OAK. Juicy POACHED PEAR notes come to the fore alongside an undertone of cracked BLACK PEPPER.
Finish
Short and slightly drying with tart KIWI; BLACK PEPPER lingers on the finish.
