Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Fresh PINEAPPLE with bursts of citrus combine initially, followed by a hint of rich VANILLA. Ripe PEAR and RED APPLE aromas develop alongside light WHITE CHOCOLATE.
Taste
Mouth-warming CHILLI spice is followed by smooth TROPICAL FRUIT flavours with a hint of MALTED CEREAL. An undertone of BLACK TREACLE develops, leading to ROASTED CASHEW NUT and dry OAK.
Finish
A short and sweet finish with rich and smooth CARAMEL.
