For the malt whisky explorer, it promises a journey of discovery through different flavours, finishes, strengths and vintages.
Nose
Sweet stewed fruit and dark berries; blackcurrant and cherries with a light wisp of smoke. Treacle toffee sweetness develops alongside subtle mouth-warming spices of ginger and cinnamon.
Taste
Spicy chilli flavours initially, giving way to rich fruitcake alongside subtle smoke. Cinnamon spice develops accompanied by dates and raisins with a gentle honey sweetness.
Finish
Medium-bodied and smooth with traces of almond and light smoke.
