Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Delicate floral aromas accompany sweet peach and pear notes. Undertones of vanilla pod develop alongside fresh cut grass with a hint of lime zest.
Taste
Nutty with a hint of spice. Creamy custard flavours come to the fore, complemented by malted cereal. Notes of banana develop with warm toasted oak and rich milk chocolate.
Finish
Light-bodied and smooth on the finish with lingering sweet banana.
