Nose Sultana, raisin, date, and stewed prune notes intertwine with nutmeg and cinnamon spices. Dark chocolate aromas combine with leather and aged oak. Taste Initially warming chilli and chocolate flavours complement notes of fruitcake topped with sweet marzipan. Nuances of liquorice enhance the winter spice and stewed plum edge. Finish Long and complex; oak evolves into dried fruits.
