The taste

Nose late autumnal orchard fruit – ripe pear and apple – join honeyed apple blossom aromas. marzipan notes develop and layer over traces of milk chocolate. Taste thick, mouth-coating apricot jam fuses with sweet and tart flavours of sugared apples and stewed rhubarb. Lemon and lime notes surface; hints of dried ginger linger over malty undertones. Finish oak lingers; nuances of cocoa powder add a drying element.
