Red Door Gin Brand Manager (Fixed Term for Two Years)
Do you have the marketing experience to build our Red Door Gin brand within the craft gin market? Can you be our Brand Champion?
Working collaboratively across departments (primarily with Regional Heads of Sales), you will bring focus, energy and determination to the brand and will champion the development and implementation of brand and market plans in key focus markets to deliver our commercial and brand objectives.
You will be responsible for managing the Red Door strategic budget with a focus on managing the digital and PR agencies to deliver brand objectives, as well as delivering NPD activity and brand support initiatives such as value added packs, POS items, and sales support items.
The role will also require you to act as brand champion and ‘the face’ of the brand, and conduct tastings and training (both in person and online) for the trade and consumers.
To deliver the requirements of the role, you need to work effectively with numerous internal and external stakeholders, so being able to work professionally with and communicate with people at various levels is an important prerequisite of this role. Commercially astute, with an insightful knowledge of the global drinks industry, you will need to assimilate information and form creative strategies which will assist the delivery of the business objectives for Red Door Gin.
This role will be based between the company’s head office in Elgin and from home. There will be a need to spend time in the trade and at events in key markets as required. Regular visits and meetings with the Visitor Centre team at Benromach Distillery in Forres will be required, as well as occasional visits to colleagues in the Edinburgh office.
