Nose Rich and fragrant; ripe BLACKCURRANT, CHERRIES, and DARK CHOCOLATE aromas with subtle burnt ORANGE undertones. Nuances of NEW LEATHER come to the fore, complemented by DRIED TOBACCO notes. TOASTED ALMOND evolves into sticky PRUNES in SYRUP. Taste Creamy and mouth-coating with a fleeting sweetness. Flavours of PEPPER transform into old fashioned BOILED SWEETS with an underlying BLACKCURRANT edge. A hint of SMOKE emerges followed by SMOULDERING EMBERS and CHARRED OAK. Finish Lingering; Dark LIQUORICE notes balance CHARRED OAK. Hints of ripe forest fruits - STRAWBERRY and BLACKCURRANT remain with bursts of fresh LIME on the finish.
