Aberfeldy

Tucked away in the Highland region is the truly beautiful Aberfeldy Distillery. Southwest of Pitlochry and northwest of Dunkeld, an impressive drive along the A827 following the River Tay, the distillery is located just before the market town of Aberfeldy.

One cannot mention the distillery without acknowledging the men who built it: Tommy and Alexander Dewar. Sons of the great blended whisky impresario John Dewar, Tommy and Alexander built the distillery in 1898 to supply the core component to the world famous Dewar’s blend.

The Aberfeldy Distillery produces a highly respected distillate in its own right. This rich, waxy, oily spirit matures well in both Sherry and bourbon casks. Its Highland style honeyed whisky is a regular fixture in our ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ range.
