Connoisseurs Choice Glenallachie 1992 43% - The nose reveals dry grass, roasted malt and a delicate sweetness. Some fragant, spicy aromas begin to develop. On the palette this light malt is peppery with charred oak. A little honey sweetness with fragrant, floral aromas also present.

Connoisseurs Choice Caol Ila 1993 40% - Pale gold in colour this well balanced Islay has earthy, birchwod and creosote aromas on the nose, whilst briny, sea tangle and crushed black peppercorns is revealed on the palette.

Connoisseurs Choice Ledaig 1990 43% - A dry, delicate, yet assertive single malt that has floral and sweet, malty aromas. Some heather and earthy notes and a hint of apple skins. The palette is perfumed with a peppery spiciness. Toasted, nutty flavours, sesame seeds and liquorice sticks.

Connoisseurs Choice Ardbeg 1996 40% - Yellow straw is colour this powerful whisky is full of smoke, spices and a distinct salty edge. The nose reveals sweet phenols with an oily note-germolene. Hints of ozone and smoked kippers are present. The palette is smoky, ashy with a rounding sweetness. Some birch-wood and mossy flavours. A strong carbolic note develops.

Secret Stills 1.1 1955 45% - A new brand to the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio. As the brand suggests the name of the distillery where this single malt originates must remain anonymous. Deep reddy brown in colour the nose of this single malt uncovers Rich, mulled fruits with traces of fresh fruits - apple pulp and ripe bananas. On the palette there is sweet, sherrywood flavours with a spicy, earthy note.
